Where we are right now

AedoBuild is a two-person team in Ontario. We're not raising money, not scaling a sales org, and not handing out founder titles to people who didn't actually start the company. We're heads-down on building software and signing our first customers.

Once we have our first 10 paying buildings on the platform, we'll start thinking about hiring — probably an engineer and a customer success person, in that order. That's a few months away at minimum.

We'll save it, and when we're ready to hire, you're the first people we talk to.

What we'd want in early hires

  • You've shipped real software (or designed real interfaces, or sold real things) — not just toy projects.
  • You like small teams, fast feedback loops, and owning entire areas of the product.
  • You can write clearly. Async-first means writing is half the job.
  • You give a damn about the people who'll use what you build. Condo boards aren't sexy; they are real people doing thankless work.

What we won't promise (yet)

  • A specific salary range — we'll figure that out honestly when the time comes.
  • A specific equity package — same. We'll make sure early people are taken care of.
  • A specific start date — we don't know when we'll be ready. Could be 3 months, could be 12.

If you'd rather wait until we have a real job posting before reaching out, that's also completely reasonable. We respect your time.
